A Nissan sports car ended up underneath another car after a
collision on the Princes Highway at Narre Warren last Wednesday.
According to police, four vehicles were traveling west in the same lane along
the highway shortly before 4pm when the incident occurred.
Under heavy braking, police believe the third vehicle in the group hit the
second, pushing it into the first. The car at the back of the group then
collided into the rear of the third and ended up underneath the car in front.
The fourth car, a Nissan driven by a 23year old Hawthorn man, came to a halt
underneath the third vehicle, a Daewoo driven by a 24 year old Clayton man.
All four drivers escaped injury but the two vehicles on top of one another were
damaged and needed towing.
