The engine bay was an absolute oil bath. Glen suggested that we take it and steam clean the bay before sticking a really mint engine into such a shit engine bay. Sealing off the alarm siren, we went nuts spraying the shit out of the engine bay with boiling water to get the oil and muck and shit out of the way, ready for the new engine. Back at Glen’s, we used the hoist again and placed the new engine into the eagerly awaiting engine bay, now it was beginning to look the part. We pushed it back into the garage, and jacked the car, placing it on dual axle stands, which is how it stayed for two more days. We had been very successful for the first, day and finished around 830pm.
